Uprooted, commissioned by Eric Banks and The Esoterics as part of their Polyphonos competition. The piece sets the words of Kay Sakai Nakao and Lilly Kitamoto Kodama, in which they tell the story of their experiences in the internment camps during the Japanese Exclusion. Performed by Anthony Maglione and William Jewell College Concert Choir.
